All aspects of tournament photography are covered, including action, colour, signage and corporate views. Only state-of-the-art Nikon professional equipment is used to carry out this important work and all high-resolution images are edited, properly captioned and embedded with correct IPTC information before delivery to client, either via FTP or on DVD.
To ensure the very best results are achieved, months of planning usually takes place before we embark on a golf course shoot. Advice on course preparation is provided well in advance so that all aspects of the course are near perfect when the shoot takes place. All high-resolution images are then edited, properly captioned and embedded with correct IPTC information before delivery to client, either via FTP or on DVD. A selection of the edited images are also uploaded onto our website so that international publishers have immediate access for editorial features. This important function provides our clients with additional, FOC marketing.
Each year we accept only a few commissions to cover high-end corporate or celebrity golf events. Typically such commissions come from the finance industry and often involve the participation of a celebrity or leading tournament professional. As such, and given that VIP clients are being entertained at great expense, the images taken on the day need to tell the true story of a special and memorable day. We help out with the planning, as well as the implementation of the events on the day to ensure that the VIP clients enjoy themselves to the full and take away a worthwhile and cherished memento.
From the numerous golf course shoots undertaken each year we produce our unique annual golf calendar. As we control the total production process the calendar is available for corporate clients to market their brands and also as a generic version, which carries the Sportpix International logo. In addition, our golf course stock images are made available to reputable international calendar publishers for inclusion on their quality products.
Yardage Guides and Scorecards
We produce golf course yardage guides and scorecards to fulfil clients' individual requests. We produce members' yardage guides for golf clubs and we also produce players' yardage guides for tournament play. All courses are accurately measured with laser equipment, and the guides feature all key points needed for golf course navigation. Our tournament guides have been produced for a number of events on both the PGA European Tour and also Ladies European Tour.
Golf Prints and Digital Art
From our extensive image archives we produce both portrait and landscape fine art golf prints for both the retail and wholesale markets. To meet and ever growing demand for “something different” we also produce golf prints in digital art form. This new form of fine art introduces an exiting dimension to golf prints that will make your home or office much more interesting and decorative. For further information on pricing, paper quality and sizes available please contact us with your requirements.
In addition to photographing professional golf tournaments we can also help with the distribution of the images on a PR basis. We can create a folder of well-branded action images that will be added to on each day of the event and made available on an FOC basis to bona fide publishers. Press releases can be sent out as normal and would include a link to the Sportpix International website, from where publishers will be able to download high-resolution images on a daily basis.
